Here's the Bloodsucking Butterfly's animation... Making it into a gif sort of screwed it up, the eyes are actually orange. Here's a bigger picture of the BB in flight d**nit, I gotta relearn my password -_-

meep... This stuff *owns*! Maybe we should stick to just 3D in all art except some of the background? It looks way much better then the 2D and now when we got such a great 3D artist... but it would a horrible load of job? The blood-butterfly is really neat, it's looks pretty scary with thouse dark coulors and glowy eyes. Heh, i love that water creature! just the the tail section alone is *yum* with all thouse little "tisue" details. Have you picked any coulors for this fellow yet? (keep it gray?) In such way that the C3 grapics is made, i could easily coulor them if you want to get rid of that job (i could give it a shoot anyway, if you want ) But i must say... it's kind of odd seing my doodles turn into nifty 3D =)

If you would like to make a texture for it, I'd be extremely happy If it doesn't work, the current one looks fine swimming ingame and stuff Atm it swims, and it has 2 life stages, baby and adult. I'm going to work on the reproduction script at some point.

heh... i don't really know how textures work (like a repeating skin?). But, I was more thinking of editing the final sprites. I've downloaded the one here to work a little with, I'll probally post it tomorow...

Ooh, the first one rocks!
Would it be easier for you if I uploaded the texture, and you can add the colouring and textures to it, or would it be easier for you to just edit the renders?

I think it's easier for me to work with the finished sprites as i don't have much experiance or knowleade when it comes to 3D. How many sprites is this particular creature about? (adult n' youth)
