hmm, there's 2 flapping sprites to the left, 2 to the right. then it's 5 others of a dead fly that rotts away (heh...) to the left and 5 to the right. i can scetch toghether a tiny eco-system as a try, but isn't it really hard to make it stable? Not even the ones in C3 is stable

I've strated on the code for the fly, but i accidentally based it on the beetle so i'll start over. I get some more commands nw...Umm, by the way, did you want a reproducing breed with lifestages? Or just some flys that go around continually.

Maybe you could start making them just "fly" around, and advance them later? How about if we make the flies build nests where they come from? Then we don't need life-stages Just suggestions: Eco for land www.angelfire.com/pokemon2/pet_keeper/bio_eco-land.jpgWould it be possible to make something grow up-side down in the roof? Maybe that meat-eating plant could be like the apple tree in C3, it's stocked to one place, eats pest and produce fruit for the creatures. Eco for water: www.angelfire.com/pokemon2/pet_keeper/bio_eco-water.jpgHmm... wonder how much stuff that can be squezed into that tiny pond?

Well, if you go ahead and try to make your ecosystem, I'll be happy to make an attempt at balancing it out for you. I'm a bit of a balance freak You've never played an Ambershee's RTS type mod have you

Really nice pond creatures AJ. I like the spiky fish, the lobster-thing and the big predator. Hell, I like all of them! Can we flood the metaroom? It would be good to have a button that floods it like the meso flooder or the rooms in the aquarium metaroom.

wooa, cool idea Skarsnik. One of the options could be flooding mood, it kills all land life and makes all tunnels full with water (including the dome, all the backround would turn slightly blueis too, that's very easy to fix). That would be nice for thouse who likes breeding water-creatures too

I think both of those eco's look great. However, would the butterfly thing really need an injector like probiscis when attacking a plant? the plant needs like a sort of storage globe that can be loosed and eaten by creatures A flood option is possible I reckons - it could work well if thats what you wanted to do. This is great. Keep it all up ;D

We can try to create it, before balance it we can decide if we want to add/remove any animals/plants. And we can always add more spieses later... ^_^ Another sprite set, this time for the corall-looking things ("real" coralls would grow too slow): www.angelfire.com/pokemon2/pet_keeper/corall_1.zipmaybe it need a shape variation? All the plants should be able to create some sort of seeds or fruits that creatures can eat? About the butterfly, i thought about a bloodsucking one. Sort of mosquito but larger (muwhaha...)

I suppose it is, but there's probably a more correct name for it. Coral suffices ;D does this mean we're gna see a slump in your current work progress then AJ?

I'm afraid so. I'll do what i can, but school is really hard Anywayz, what should i put effort in next? What would the programmers like to work with? (Sprites that need to be completed: *Gas-cloud for spray *Variations of coral 1 (orangeish) *Variation of coral 2 (blueish) *Fly-hive (queens?) *The Bio-Dome (I'm doing a little all the time on this one) *Eventualy that grendel breed? (will take tons of time))

Finished the fly!!!!! After 4 or so days of scrapping, starting , being confused and starting over, my first bug is finished! I'm starting on the basic coral's which is fairly easy, and then hope to make some more stuff. -AJ-, please do the spray so i can get started on that. I will also be commencing school soon, but in two weeks, thank god. You can get the fly here www.freewebs.com/liamlala

So there is a new grendel breed and not just my eyes tricking me. It looks realy cool and there is far more deTAIL IN THE FACE THAN NORMAL c3 GRENDELs. Why dont you give them fin tails aswell so they could be semmy aquatic, or mabe you could give them spikes on their tails so they could be dinosaur like. Swamp Grendels sounds like a good name for you to use A.J.
At the moment im drawing out some more critters but im colouring them in by hand so they wont look right if i scan them in, well at the moment i dont have a scanner as i broke it by puttin an iron on it.
Keep up the good work [glow=Green,5,300]BioCorp™[/glow]

Hi Kule! I guess you are a sprite maker? I've been thinking about thouse grendels, i think there's already a aqua-grendel in progress, they are blueish with some fishy parts and some thorns. Swamp grendels is a nice name, they are also called pirayha(sp?) grendels and jungle grendels. I've just downloaded the fly, i can barely wait to try it =) I'll do some clouds too, i'll post them here tomorrow Wich kind of critters are you makeing Kule?
