Hello everyone! I'd love to help with the Biodome project, especially if you're planning on making a new breed to go with it. If so I would be willing to offer my artistic skills to make the sprites for the breed.
I don't have any previous work to show except my C1 Armadillo Norns but I'll need to find the files for that.

I'm learning CAOS and I understand it but I still need practice in placing the code correctly and learning where to put certain commands. However I am a lot better with graphics, especially for Norns. A year ago I made the sprites for my own norn breed but I haven't released it onto the internet yet.
If you want sprites done for a new norn just notify me and I'll be glad to make it the best I can.
By the way, the name Moldy is what I gave to my first hatched grendel on C1.

Moldy, your sprite skills could come in handy if we decide to make a new breed of any of the creatures. I can make the genomes for the creatures, including altering how things effect them, if they do. I'm new and haven't really got a job yet, but if anyone wants to start a new breed, I'll make the genomes.

SamusAX and Moldy. We ARE making a new breed hopefully. I've sent Moldy the 4 head images I've done, and if anyone wants them you can find the at www.freewebs.com/liamlala SamusAX, the main thing in the genome which would be good for the Arid Norns is that they should sleep during the day and wake up at night. And I also thought the other day, if we are going to have a changeable backround, why don't we do night images so that at t=night it would go darker? Thats when i came up with the idea for the Arid Norns. And another thing, what if we made it so that you could change the backround to accomadate other enviroments? Like there could be a Desert for the Arid Norns, a jungle sorta setting, an Oceanic setting where the place gets flooded and aquatic creatures can be bread, amd so on? Any Ideas would be cool! Liam

That was the original idea. I was thinking originally that we could create 'expansions'. For instance, a desert expansion would include: a desert background, an entire desert ecology and an updated critter creator (to include the critters included in that pack. For the moment we'll work on the basic room and the basic bio-dome ecology, plus all the bio-dome 'tools'. The flooder, the backgorund changer, the critter creator and the weather systems.

Thats what I was thinking. Anyway, what sorta places/ecologies do we want, I think its a good idea to have a forest/marsh one, a desert one, an ocean one (the flooder), and maybe some others. What do you think?

First release will probably be aquatic / temperate, and possibly desert if we think that we can get that done effectively before wanting to release anything. Later inclusions can include rainforest, arctic, swamp and mountainous terrain

On Monday, I should be fully clear of schoolwork. This means That I have more time to work on the bio-dome. I will probably get everything together and get everyone organised, because we need to get this done sensibly. What I'm not going to do is set deadlines etc. From past projects I can see that this doesn't work because of school and other things. So, as of Monday, I'm going to sructure this a bit better.
