I've been working on the weapons list and it reads as follows. I've included a few details where possible and a quick image to show off what it really looks like.
Players will be able to choose from each list a single sidearm, primary weapon or secondary weapon. They may also be given certain other bits of equipment based on the scenario.
Players are also given a certain number of 'weight restriction points' that can be used to add various accessories to weapons, some of which are also scenario specific.
Sidearm
Glock 18

Fairly standard handgun, Has two firing modes, a single shot mode and a three shot burst. Takes a 15 shot straight magazine.
Heckler & Koch P2000
davidhunter3.tripod.com/p2000.jpg
The Heckler & Koch P2000 is also a fairly normal semi-automatic pistol. It can be upgraded to carry a silencer for 1 weight restriction point, a laser marker dot for 3 weight restriction points and / or a 2x Scope for 2 weight restriction points. It takes a 9 shot clip.
Valtro PM5 Compact
davidhunter3.tripod.com/pm5.jpg
The Valtro PM5 is a small lightweight shotgun that makes for an ideal short range high power sidearm. It has a vertical pump action, and takes a demi-sickle clip of 12 shotgun shells.
Primary
Heckler & Koch MP-7 PDW
davidhunter3.tripod.com/mp7.jpg
The Mp-7 is a high velocity sub-machine gun. It is very compact and vicious at short range. It offers superior armour penetration but lacks range. It can be fitted with a retractable buttstock for 1 weight restriction point.
Famas Felin G2
davidhunter3.tripod.com/g2.jpg
The Famas Felin G2 is the most customiseable weapon available to the modern soldier. Each upgrade costs 1 weight restriction point, but the Famas Felin may be taken with a free upgrade without costing any restriction points. It generally carries a 22 shot box magazine.
Silencer
Muzzle Flare Reduction
Folding Buttstock
Laser Marker dot
2x Scope
Bipedal Mounting
Extended Magazine
Burst Fire Mode
Heckler and Koch G36E
davidhunter3.tripod.com/g36.jpg
The G36 is the standard assault rifle, and is in widespread use around the globe. It is reliable, accurate and easy to maintain. It is fitted with an integral 4x scope and can be used in either single shot mode, burst fire of three shots or as a semi-automatic. The sickle mag tends to contain 36 shots, which can be upgraded to tracers or phosphorous for 1 weight restriction point.
Heckler and Koch Mg43
davidhunter3.tripod.com/mg43.jpg
The Mg43 is used to fill in the role of a Squad Automatic Weapon, similar to the M249 SAW carried by US forces. It takes a chain feed from a personnel mounted backpack and never requires reloading unless the feed comes to an end. It also has an integral bipod system, and can be mounted on a tripod for 2 weight restriction points.
Geldmacher SVD
davidhunter3.tripod.com/geldmacher.jpg
The Geldmacher SVD is a modern rendition of the Soviet Druganov SVD. It is a high power efficiency rifle with incredible accuracy, but it's middle of the range power makes it easily wieldabe by foot soldiers and reduces aiming time. It is lightweight and takes a sickle mag of 8 shots. It is always fitted with an 8x retractable scope and can be given a polymer buttstock for 1 weight restriction point.
Accuracy International Aw50
davidhunter3.tripod.com/aw50.jpg
The Aw50 is a high bore sniper rifle capable of projecting bullets across distances in excess of a kilometer. It is heavy and unwieldy, but it comes with a monopedal support to aid the aiming progress. It takes a straight clip of five shots and is always accompanied with a 4x-16x retractable scope.
Heckler and Koch 40mm CMG
davidhunter3.tripod.com/40mmcmg.jpg
The HK CMG is a 40mm rapid firing grenade launcher. It is the heaviest weapon employed on the battlefield and is relatively rare. Its use is limited but it offers incredible firepower in the face of entrenched enemies on mass. It's 40mm 'shells' can be launched a fair distance, although this weapon is frustratingly heavy! It takes a limited length chain feed from a personnel carried backpack, and also is so heavy that no weight restriction equipment may be carried along with this weapon.
Secondary
Satchel C4 Charges
Inobvious explosive charges that can be detonated via a remote 'clacker' device. They carry a hefty blast and are ideal for the stealthy operative in sabotage scenarios.
M18 Claymores
M18 Claymores are anti-personnel and anti-tank mines that feature a directional blast cap, motion sensor technology and a remote 'clacker' detonation device. They are not effective for destroying objective structures but can be easily used to put an end to armoured convoys and columns.
M72 LAWs
M72 LAWs (Light Anti-Tank Weapon) are one shot one use RPGs. They offer excellent range and reliability, and can still pack enough of a punch to take down aircraft and armoured vehicles.
M203 Grenade Launcher
The Valtro PM5, Famas Felin G2 and G36 can all be fitted with the M203 Grenade Launcher. The M203 offers excellent usage, via good range and reliability for a weapon mounted auxiliary grenade launcher.
